Very often these days, you will find that young people break up and get back together with the same partner very regularly. Getting back with your ex is also more likely if you are younger.

There are many reasons why young couples break up and there may be times when it may not be best for you to get back with your ex depending on the reasons you broke up. Lets say a boy cheats on his girlfriend, young males do tend to cheat more and his girlfriend may not want to get back with him for this reason.

There are rectifiable issues though such as neglect or jealousy. Jealousy can destroy a relationship by one person not being able to control how jealous they get.

Neglect can also be an issue in relationships, a person may feel like they are not wanted or liked by their partner for instance. For example, young couples like to go out with friends which sometimes doesn’t go down well with their partner.

Young people tend to be unsure of what sort of life they want from their selves too and who they want to spend it with, which contributes to break ups. People sometimes want to try and get their ex back however after they have spent some time alone to think about things.

You do have a pretty good chance of getting back together is you are young and your partner has broke up with you or you have broke up with them. If it’s for reasons such as jealousy or neglect it’s very easy to sort it out. You just need to sit down and talk things out, identify you mistakes and learn from them.

That said, if either you or your partner was unfaithful, fixing things will be a lot more difficult. Also, if your ex decides to leave you because they think that you are not the right person for them, I think you should take it on the cheek and walk away. blog archives
